The DC Sniper has now bit the dust. John Muhammed, the 48 year old who gained fame through his grisly game play, was executed Tuesday at the Greenville Correctional Center in Virginia. Muhammed and accomplice had killed 10 people in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington over a three week period in October 2002. The Supreme Court denied Muhammed’s earlier appeal refusing to intervene in his case.
The random act of Muhammed’s behavior will forever remain etched in our minds here in the East Coast of the United States. It goes to show you that some of our worst fears are always close to home.
